DOF introduced Modeless Total Solution at AEEDC 2023
DOF Inc. participated in AEEDC Dubai 2023, an international dental conference exhibition held in Dubai, UAE, from February 7 to 9.
AEEDC Dubai 2023 is the largest dental equipment exhibition in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. It has 3,600 companies from 155 countries participating this year. What is Modeless Total Solution?
DOF presented Modeless Total Solution at AEEDC 2023. As DOF succeeded in developing an intraoral scanner, Modeless Total Solution completed along with its milling machine. In the past, it was common to put silicone impression in the patient’s mouth, make a model, and then make a prosthesis in a laboratory. However, with the modeless method, users can obtain dental information quickly by simply scanning teeth with an intraoral scanner. If the dentist has a milling machine, one-day restorations can be done.
The core equipment of DOF’s Modeless Total Solution is the intraoral scanner, FREEDOM i, and the milling machine, CRAFT 5X. FREEDOM i is an intraoral scanner newly launched by DOF. The most important feature of this scanner is fast scanning speed and wireless functionality. CRAFT 5X is a compact all-in-one milling machine with a built-in compressor, water tank, and dust collector for both dry or wet milling. DOF also provides various software by establishing a platform such as ‘SYNC’, a cloud that uploads and stores patient information. It also provides ‘DOF BRIDGE’, which can request dental CAD designs from experts.
Modeless Total Solution and Digital Dentistry
Songjae Lee, sales director of DOF, said, “In this exhibition, we focused on promoting our products’ performance by operating an experience zone. Since there were quite a number of meaningful consultations that could lead to dealership contracts, we expect this to lead to an increase in sales.”
Meanwhile, DOF is leading the digitalization of the dental market by developing an integrated dental CAD/CAM solution with innovative technology. Recording a high growth rate every year, it develops its own 3D dental scanner, face scanner, and 5-axis milling machine. It exports them to more than 80 countries worldwide, including Germany, the United States, and Japan. In 2020, it won the ‘Global Top Technology Division Grand Prize’ at the ‘World Class Medium-sized Strong Small Business Awards’. Also, it was selected as the Excellent Corporation R&D Center of 2021 hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
